If your website is showing this error, it means that it is not indexed and in the index status window in Google Webmaster Tools the statistics shown indexed pages is zero. There will also be no content keywords shown.
The above error is telling you that the websites that is added to Google tools has been redirected to another url. It is not uncommon with that error, to also get another error when trying to set a preferred domain in the site settings of Webmaster tools which shows
the error that is shown reads as” Part of the process of setting a preferred domain is to verify that you own” and continues on. Usually this and the above 301 permanent redirects comes hand-in-hand. You are absolutely not be able to save the settings that will show a preferred domain with or without it’s the www.
HTTP/1.1 301 Moved Permanently
This error occurs since Google’s Webmaster tools distinguishes between a website that has a www.in front of its domain and the same website without the www.
Thus, http://www.moneyandbusiness.ca and https://moneyandbusiness.ca are two different websites where Webmaster tools is concerned.
Look back at your websites in Webmaster tools. Is it added with or without the www. if your website is added with the www.then go back to Webmaster tools and we add that exact website without the www.
If your website is already added without it the www, then add another websites to your webmaster tools with the www.
After you’ve done this, the new website will show as being indexed, keywords will be shown, incoming links will be seen, and 301 redirect error is no longer there.
